Albarrac\u00edn ist eine Kleinstadt und Hauptort der gleichnamigen Gemeinde im Landkreis Sierra de Albarrac\u00edn, 28 km von Teruel entfernt.
\nDas historische Ensemble wurde zum Kulturgut erkl\u00e4rt und gilt als eines der sch\u00f6nsten D\u00f6rfer der Provinz Teruel und ganz Spaniens. 1961 wurde es zum Nationalen Denkmal erkl\u00e4rt und 1996 erhielt es die goldene Medaille f\u00fcr seine Verdienste um die bildende Kunst.<\/p>\n
Die Altstadt befindet sich auf einem H\u00fcgel, der vom Guadalaviar umflossen wird.
