An iconic music festival in a unique space in Barcelona
NAFTA sounds like NAFTA. Since 2016, the Argentine band has been building a unique sonic universe, with roots in soul and elements of R&B and hip hop. In 2019, they released their self-titled debut album, accompanied by an audiovisual piece, presented to a full house at Niceto Club and nominated for the Gardel Awards as "Best Conceptual Album." Months later, during the lockdown, they released "Vivo en el sillón," a live session with three tracks from the album in an acoustic format, showcasing a warmer and more intimate version of the project. In 2021, after almost a year without live performances, the band returned to the stage, selling out shows.
In 2022, they performed at iconic festivals like Cosquín Rock, Rock en Baradero, Festival Futurock, Festival Hit Hot, Festival Capital, Ciudad Emergente, Festival Bandera, Festival Fardo, Music Wins, and made their first visits to various cities across Argentina, delivering amazing concerts. In 2023, they were invited to perform at Lollapalooza Argentina and released their second studio album, NAFTA II, accompanied, just like their debut, by a conceptual film. This new album was presented with a sold-out show at Luna Park in November of the same year, in front of over 8,000 people. In 2024, they sold out Sala Razzmatazz in Barcelona, presenting this work and all their classics. In the summer of 2025, they will return to Barcelona to continue presenting their music and unmistakable sound in an event at Poble Espanyol, promising to be another great success.
