This journey fueled his songwriting, leading to three acclaimed albums and four EPs that have collectively amassed over half a billion streams, solidifying his presence in prestigious European concert halls. His latest single, "Happening Lately," produced by Luke Smith, further exemplifies Cunningham's artistry. It masterfully weaves his signature guitar work with deeply introspective and resilient lyrics, offering a compelling glimpse into his evolving musical landscape. G5 – Festival Alma Occident Barcelona 2025

The G-5 is what has always been called a supergroup. Or rather, in their own terminology, a ghost group, formed in 2006 by Kiko Veneno, El Canijo de Jerez, and Diego Ratón from Los Delinqüentes, Muchachito, and Tomasito. That same year, they released their only album to date, Tucaratupapi (2006), which is now out of print and unavailable on any digital platform.

In 2024, 18 years later, the G-5 reunites for several sporadic meetings to compose and record new songs, as well as for a single performance at the Noches del Botánico festival in Madrid. In early 2025, their first album Tucaratupapi will see the light of day on vinyl for the first time, as well as being made available on all digital platforms with a remixed and remastered edition. Also in 2025, during the spring, it seems likely we’ll get to hear the new songs resulting from these gatherings.
