A weekend full of culture and leisure returns to Montjuïc! On October 3 and 4, Poble Espanyol is opening its doors for free to Barcelona city residents to celebrate *Viu Montjuïc*.
You can stroll through its streets and squares, enjoy Mediterranean cuisine, visit artisan workshops, and discover contemporary art at the Fran Daurel Museum and the exhibition *A Photographic Journey: The Construction of Poble Espanyol*.

Europe will celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Final Countdown with three unique concerts in Spain in October 2026. The band will perform the full album along with their greatest hits from all their discography covering more than ten studio albums.

Vidre Art Gallery is the new landmark for contemporary art in Barcelona, located in the iconic former glassblowing workshop of Poble Espanyol. This unique space fuses the heritage of traditional techniques with the most innovative trends of the current scene.

A photographic journey

Don't miss the exhibition "A photographic journey. The construction of Poble Espanyol" about the enclosure's origin and construction process. Delve into the journeys undertaken between 1927 and 1928 by the architects Ramón Reventós and Francesc Folguera, the draughtsman Xavier Nogués and the painter Miquel Utrillo, to collect the information and get the inspiration needed to turn the project into a reality that had to be demolished.

Surprising and versatile. That’s the Guinovart Space, a circular building presided over by a giant sculpture of the renowned artist Josep Guinovart. Made up of different floors and with natural light that enters from a large skylight, it’s a fantastic location for aperitifs, cocktails and exhibitions.

In the Poble Espanyol Sculpture Garden you can contemplate 36 sculptures by 27 different contemporary artists, created using different techniques and covering various styles and materials. And the best thing is that you’ll enjoy an art space in natural surroundings of 3,000 m2.

This private collection houses more than 300 works by internationally renowned artists, from very different periods and styles, bringing together Spanish contemporary art in a single exhibition.
