Sabor de Gràcia
In 1994, the gypsy from Gracia, Antonio Carbonell – better known as Sicus – founded this essential group in the Catalan rumba scene. The group released its first album in 1997 and has been active ever since. Throughout their career, Sabor de Gràcia has paid tribute to a whole generation of artists such as Joan Manuel Serrat, Gato Pérez, Peret, El Pescaílla and Lola Flores and family.
Alma de Boquerón
A band made up of very different musicians who meet with rumba, folk, tango, pop, flamenco, country… They don’t put up any barriers or prejudices when it comes to combining all these genres!
Sweet Marta & The Blues Shakers
Sweet Marta is the only female harmonica player in the state and occupies a prominent place in the state blues scene. The Blues Shakers have a long musical career and the band is formed by Johnny Bigstone on guitar, Little Jordi on bass and Blas Picón on drums. All together they demonstrate, in their live performances, that the blues breeds are still alive.
Malacara Blues Band
A quartet that performs the best blues and African-American music of the 1920s in the 1960s. Their music takes us to Mississippi. Xavi Malacara is the melodic vocalist, the accompaniment is provided by Taisen’s double bass and the drummer Salva Joker, who barely uses the bass drum.
