Palacio del Mayoralgo (Cáceres, Cáceres)
Palacio del Mayoralgo is at the foot of the Cathedral of Santa María and was built between 1534 and 1538.
Currently, the Palace is on the UNESCO Heritage Route of Cáceres and its subsoil has traces of many of the cultures that have settled in the town: Romans, Christians, Arabs and Jews. Furthermore, the discovery of these remains confirmed the Roman origin of the city: the colony of Norba Caesariana.
