The vocal ensemble “Canta diem”

The band counts with 25 singers and was founded to give talented young people from the musical branch of the BG / BRG Perchtoldsdorf the opportunity to be active in the choir. Various concert tours have taken the choir to Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Rome. The highlight of the concert tours is an invitation to China for the “Beijing International Art Week – 2018”.

The greatest successes of the ensemble were a silver medal at the International Choir Competition in Bad Ischl and a 2nd place in the open choir competition in Verona.

The choral repertoire covers a wide range from Renaissance music to 21st century compositions. Popular songs and literature from the popular sector also complete the repertoire.
