Montse Casas studied fashion design, photography and photography specialising in film. She got into the world of textiles by buying a loom just to play around with. Her shop has now been open in Poble Espanyol for almost 20 years. She likes to experiment with colours and textures of threads, using traditional techniques combined with a more contemporary and modern style. Located in the Poble since 2002.
The materials used to make the products are natural fibre yarns such as linen, silk, cotton, alpaca, merino wool, moher, llama... Silver and copper threads, silk ribbons and trimmings, beads and charms and small pieces of silver are also used in the fabrics.
The techniques used are low-warp handloom weaving and high-warp weaving.
