Casa de los Carvajal, also known as the Palacio de Carvajal, is on Calle Amargura, in the old quarter, and was built between the 15th and 16th centuries.
It is one of the most emblematic buildings in the spectacular city due to its Gothic and Renaissance-style architecture. Its main granite façade is similar to that used in Cáceres palaces. The Carvajal family coat of arms can also be seen.
