It is organized by the School of Industrial Organization (EOI), Fundesarte, Oficio y Arte (national artisan organizations) to promote national and international crafts by offering free activities.
Artisans, workshops, schools, and both private and public facilities are joining this initiative to promote the sector and reach the general public.

European Crafts Days

The aim of these workshops is to bring the public closer to the secrets of the work of luthiers, jewelers, ceramists, lacemakers, blacksmiths, weavers, and all kinds of artisanal trades, in order to disseminate their enormous wealth and uniqueness.

For one week, free activities will introduce visitors and those interested in craft creation to the world of craftsmanship. Fairs, open days in workshops, live demonstrations, exhibitions, children’s activities, and more. Seven days of craftsmanship, inviting artists to showcase their creations and share their working methods with the public.

The European Days of Crafts originated in Les Journées Européennes des Métiers d’Art, organized in France by the Institut National des Métiers d’Art (INMA) since 2002. Spain soon joined the project, and both countries present the most extensive program of activities. This festival is celebrated simultaneously in different countries throughout Europe.
