A museum to discover

Discover the Fran Daurel Foundation. Located within the enclosure since 2001, it houses a valuable modern art collection in Barcelona with works by renowned artists such as Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí, Joan Miró, Antoni Tàpies and Eduardo Chillida.

Did you know that Poble Espanyol was born from an epic photographic expedition across more than 1,600 towns in the 1920s? During this guided tour, you will discover the secrets behind this breathtaking 40,000 m2 open-air architectural museum. As you stroll through its streets, we will reveal how this "ideal village model" was designed: not as mere copies, but as a perfect synthesis of the best Romanesque, Gothic, and Mudejar art.
